Scientific name - Crataegus rhipidophylla
Hawthorn is otherwise referred as thonapple. It grows well in temperate regions and its tree measures about 5-15 meters in length and possesses a tiny pome fruit. The fruits are found native to specific parts of Europe, Asia and North America.
It is a shrub which typically grows only to the limited height.
