Bilimbi is a fruit bearing tree that is popular by different names in different languages. When compared to carambola, it is completely different in terms of its physical appearance, flavor and uses. Best grown in rich and well-drained soil, it comes down to a length of 4-10cm. Giving a mild sour flavor to the taste buds, they are widely seen in Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Sri-Lanka.
