Fruits having low sugar content

Sometimes the fruits,which are low in sugar contain the highest nutritional value, including antioxidants and other phytonutrients. Following are some of them listed:

  • Berries that are packed with antioxidants and vitamins like Blueberries,strawberry, raspberries, blackberries, huckleberries, salmon berries, and gooseberries are low in sugar content.

  • Cherries are yet another fruit type that contains antioxidants similar to berries, despite they have sugar content present in it, and they are very low in carb and are an excellent source of fiber.

  • In general, citrus fruits contain high sugar content but grape  fruits don’t.

  • The stone fruits are a good dose of vitamin C and fiber.

  • Figs are also low in sugar as strawberries, and are packed with fiber.

  • Lemon and Lime are sour citrus fruits that are low in sugar.

  • Peach fruit are sweeter but it contains only 9g of sugar per serving amount.
