Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 ½ cups of sugar
- 2/3 cup of butter
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 cups of blueberries
Directions
- Combine flour, sugar and butter together.
- Reserve ¾ of cup of this mixture for the toppings.
- Remaining mixture can be combined with salt, baking powder, vanilla, milk and egg yolks and it should be blended well.
- Beat the egg whites until they become firm and fold into batter and pour into 9” X 13” baking pan.
- Sprinkle some blueberries over the top along with the remainder of reserved flour/sugar/butter mixture.
- Bake it at 350 degree in a preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes.
