Making a Banana recipe is much easier when compared to other recipes because its availability is throughout the year and they are less expensive too. Kids love to eat a lot of bananas and they need a lot of them at this tender age to grow in a nutritious and healthy conditions. While purchasing bananas, select the ones which has less brown spots on them, as these brown spots indicates the ripening period of it and kids don’t prefer ripened bananas.
In order to stop its ripening, one can store it in fridge otherwise it can be stored at normal room temperatures. However, you can use these ripened bananas for baking and smoothies also. As bananas contain high calories and lot of vitamins like vitamin B6, vitamin C and potassium, this recipe is considered as one of the best nutritious diet for kids. Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of almond flour
- 2 tea spoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of cloves ( optional)
- 10 dates, seedless
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup of coconut oil, melted
- 1 ½ cup of chopped carrots
- Muffin paper liners
Instructions:
- Heat up the oven to 350 and line 1 muffin tins with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, griddle together flour, baking soda, salt and spices.
- Combine the dates, bananas, eggs, vinegar, oil, and carrots with the help of a food processor.
- Mix the dry and wet ingredients.
- Take the mixture formed and spoon it into paper lined muffin tins.
- Bake it at 350 for 30 minutes or until done.
It is best when refrigerated and now-a-days most of the kids are not vegetable eaters and they do not prefer the greenish brown color. So in order to make it more appealing, use Take and Toss cups, the one with lids plus colored straws to hide the color.
